Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Green Beans, cut off stems
  • cup Sliced ALmonds
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Method

1. Toast sliced almonds in skillet (dry). Watch carefully, it is easy to burn almonds. add 3 tbl butter (brown the butter) about 3 minutes (don't burn butter). remove from pan and set aside add 2 tsp of lemon juice to almond mix
2. Put green beans in skillet and add 1/2 cup water and 1/2 tsp of salt. Put lid on and cook for 8 to 10 minutes (med high) (evaporate water) add almond butter mixture and mix well (add salt to season)

Goes well with Stuffed Chicken Breasts
