Mexican Cheese & Jalapeno Spread

Ingredients

  • 5 each jalepeno chile, Minced
  • 3 each scallions, Minced
  • 8 ounces Mexican Cheese Blend, shredded (1 cup)
  • ½ cup sour cream, low fat
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise, low fat
  • teaspoon white pepper
  • teaspoon salt
  • to taste tabasco

Method

Mince Jalapenos and place in 2 qt. or larger bowl. Mince scallions including enough green tops to make 1/4 cup, add to bowl. Add remaining ingredients, except tabasco, and stir until smooth. Cover and refrigerate at least two hours.

If served hot, preheat oven to 350 degrees, and bake in dish for 20 minutes.
